Dress Code

Proper attire and hair etiquette is required for all dance classes. It allows AiDA instructors to see body placement of our students.


Intro to Ai Classes

Fundamentals to Dance, Ballet/Tap & Tap/Jazz Combos

  • Girls: Hair off face, pink leotard, skirts optional, footed pink tights, and pink ballet shoes (no slippers), black tap shoe
  • Boys: Fitted T-shirt or tank, shorts that show the knee, black or white Ballet shoes

Elementary and Leveled Classes

Ballet Classes

Ai Youth

  • Girls: Hair in bun, black leotard, footed pink tights, and pink ballet shoes (no slippers)
  • Boys: Hair off face, Fitted T-shirt or tank, shorts that show the knee or leggings, black or white Ballet shoes

New to Ai, Advanced Ai, Pre-Pointe

  • Girls: Hair in bun, black leotard, footed or transition pink tights, and pink ballet shoes with split soles.
  • Boys: Hair off face, fitted t-shirt or tank, shorts that show the knee or leggings with black or white Ballet shoes.

Hip Hop and Tap Classes

All Levels

  • Girls and Boys: Any top, shorts that show the knee, jazz pants, leggings, or sweatpants (NO JEANS). Non- Marking tennis shoe or Hip Hop shoes for Hip Hop and Tap Shoes for Tap (NO STREET SHOES).

Jazz and Contemporary Classes

All Levels: Includes Strength & Flexibility and Leaps & Turns

  • Girls and Boys: Any form fitting top, shorts that show the knee, jazz pants, or leggings. Tan jazz shoes, Bare feet, or Dance paws.

Specialty Classes

Acro

  • Girls and Boys: Any form fitting top, shorts that show the knee, jazz pants, or leggings. Bare feet preferred.
