AiDA’s Dance Classes:
Intro to Ai
12 months to 6 years of age
This program is designed for our youngest dancers! They will be encouraged and guided as they find their love for dance!
Mommy & Me (12 months – 24 months old)
Mommy and me is a 45 minute class that helps toddlers develop musicality and motor skills through movement.
Fundamentals of Dance (2 years old)
This 45 minute class will help to develop musicality as well as self-expression through movement and dance.
Mini Hip Hop- (4-6 years old)
This 45 minute class will introduce students to the dance genre of hip hop, encompassing different styles such as freestyle movements to teach coordination. This class is great for those who wish to express their own sense of style.
Ballet/Tap (3-4 years old) (5-6 years old)
This 45 minute class introduces the basic fundamentals of both ballet and tap. Two different levels will be available based on age.
Ballet/Jazz (5-6 years old)
This 45 minute class will begin working of the fundamentals of basic Ballet and Jazz. Jazz requires a good fundamental base.
Mini Drill/Jazz (4-6 years old)
This 45 minute class will begin learning pom pom and jazz skills along with terminology.
7 to 12 years of age
This program is designed to build upon our Intro program and welcome in new dancers who have a love and passion for dance! This program is designed for those who are interested in taking their passion for dance a little further!
The foundation of all modern dance forms. This beautiful and demanding dance form is a necessity to build technique and self discipline. Students will be placed in Ballet classes through director approval. Class lengths and frequency will vary with Level.
This all boys Ballet is one of the most demanding dance classes, but it is a necessity to build technique and self discipline as well as a foundation for all other dance forms.
A popular performance dance technique and style that focuses on proper technique, alignment and movement quality for those quick turns, big leaps, and fancy footwork.
A fusion between Ballet and Jazz that uses emotions through fluid movements to tell a story.
A style of theatrical dance distinguished by percussive footwork and rhythms. Students will learn the basics of tap as well as musicality and rhythm.
Stretch and Strengthening
The focus of this class is to introduce various techniques of flexibility training as well as techniques that are especially designed to improve your range of movement. Effective stretching and strengthening exercises are beneficial for preventing a wide array of injuries.
Hip hop is a high-energy class that has the latest moves infused with the original Hip Hop style. Classes will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements.
Hip Hop Jazz/Funk
This is a popular hybrid of hip hop and jazz technique. That encourages students self-confidence and individuality.
This style borrows from jazz, ballet and modern styles. It often uses gestural and pedestrian components to build choreography, relationship and story. Classes will include center work, across the floor and choreography. Students will be challenged to emotionally connect with movement/story.
This is a very high energy class where students learn choreography from selected Broadway musicals. A beautiful form and expression of emotion used to tell a story through dance.
A high energy class that teaches proper drill technique, precision, terminology, and jazz technique.
New to Ai
13 to 18 years of age
This program was designed with the idea that dance can be for everyone! Our teens who are new to dance will feel comfortable and encouraged as they learn the basics. Available classes are listed above.
Hip Hop 101
13 to 18 years of age
This program was built for the dancers who have completed their basics from Ai Youth and are passionate about continuing their dance education! Available classes are listed below.
Pre/Pointe & Pointe (By Audition Only)
19 and up
This program was built purely out of a love for dance that never fades no matter our age! Not only does this program include the classical genres focused on technique but we’ve also incorporated aspects of fitness with dance to make working out more fun!
Our adult programs are built for all ages. It is proven that dancing not only helps to keep you fit, but it also helps to keep you happy! It is never to late to learn to dance!
